Per the Membership Purchase Terms: "You can cancel autorenewal of Memberships you purchased at any time by visiting the Membership subscription page" (health.amazon.com/prime/onemedical/settings). Text is in all-caps emphasis in the Terms: membership auto-continues and is auto-charged unless the customer updates auto-renewal settings on that page or cancels. Further cancellation detail is pointed to Amazon's general Help Center Cancellation Policy page (not a One-Medical-specific document).

Membership: "The Membership fee is non-refundable except as outlined in the Cancellation Policy" (Amazon general Help Center policy, linked but not itself fetched as evidence). If Amazon terminates a membership at its own discretion (not for cause), "we will give you a pro-rated refund based on the number of full months remaining"; no refund if termination is for the customer's breach, fraud, or misuse. If a customer buys additional memberships (e.g., adding family members) later, "we will give you a pro-rated refund of each of the remaining original Membership's term" and restart all memberships on a single new term date. On-Demand Care (pay-per-visit, from the Help/FAQ page, not the Purchase Terms): payment is only charged "when a provider has reviewed your information and delivered a care summary" — if the provider determines you can't be treated after reviewing your intake, "your treatment will be canceled and you won't be charged" (no charge, not a refund, since payment hadn't yet been taken). Missed/uncompleted Video Care calls are auto-canceled with no charge. For completed visits, "Amazon One Medical won't issue a refund if a provider reviews your information and decides that prescription medication isn't the best treatment for you." For non-members who paid cash and are dissatisfied, "refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis" via Customer Care (1-888-663-6331) — no fixed refund window or percentage is published.

The Purchase Terms mention only that "We sometimes offer certain customers various trial or other promotional memberships" at the company's discretion, cancelable anytime pre-conversion via the subscription settings page — no standard number of days stated. Separately, the homepage advertises an "introductory Prime offer" of free Direct Message Care for Prime members for "common conditions," with terms gated behind a JS modal not resolvable via static fetch (needs_recheck).

Terms Section 8: "You can cancel the subscription to the service at any time for any reason. Your membership must be canceled before it renews in order to avoid the next billing cycle." The ToS itself does not name a specific mechanism, but a public, unauthenticated cancellation form is live on betterhelp.com: press.md (fetched 2026-08-15, itself a 404 "Page not found" page, but the site-wide footer/modal chrome it served included a "Cancel Subscription" footer link and a "Subscription cancellation request" modal reading "Alternatively, if you would prefer to log in to process deletion you may do so here" — implying the no-login path is the primary route: submit account email, receive a confirmation "Cancellation request confirmed" message, "you will receive an email shortly." advice-customer-service.md corroborates: "You may cancel your BetterHelp subscription at any time through your account settings... The process can be completed through your account settings, and you will receive confirmation once the cancellation is processed." No phone call or live agent contact is required to initiate cancellation. Unused sessions in a billing cycle do not roll over (Terms Section 8 example). Late cancellations/no-shows (within 24 hours of a scheduled session) may incur a $15 fee per occurrence (Terms Section 8; advice-cost.md).

No blanket refund policy is published; Terms Section 8 states only the cancellation mechanic (must cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge) and does not promise refunds for the current billing period. advice-customer-service.md (first-party "advice" article, not the ToS itself) states refunds are handled "on a case-by-case basis": "If you were dissatisfied with the services provided, you may contact customer service to discuss the possibility of receiving a refund," with an approved request directed to call 888-688-9296 to complete processing. Separately, Terms Section 8 publishes an EU/UK-style 14-day "cooling off" withdrawal right for members in countries that legally require it: "you must sufficiently complete this form and we will honor that request such that the contract will be reversed and you will be fully refunded" (via a dedicated betterhelp.com/withdrawal-form).

Self-serve in-portal cancellation is the documented member flow, per FAQ: "If you'd like to cancel your Medication subscription, login to your Brightside Portal and select 'Settings' from the menu bar. From there you will want to select 'Manage Plan' and then 'Cancel My Medication Plan'" — and the identical flow for Therapy ("Cancel My Therapy Plan"). Terms of Use Section 9(c) additionally allows email cancellation: "To cancel Services, you can send an email to support@brightside.com or use the cancellation process in your account settings." Cancellation "will be effective at the end of the then current Subscription period" — access continues through the paid period, then terminates without further charges (ToU Section 9). Separately, a platform-wide "no-show" penalty applies for missed/late-cancelled appointments: "Members using insurance may be charged up to $200.00 for each missed appointment, based on appointment type... Proper notice of cancellation requires that you cancel or reschedule your appointment...at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the appointment's start time" (ToU Section 9(d)); this no-show fee "is not reimbursable by your insurance carrier" and is charged directly to the payment method on file. Members enrolled through the monthly self-pay subscription instead "forfeit their ability to reschedule the appointment" on a late cancel/no-show, without an extra dollar fee. Members must also meet minimum engagement requirements (initial visit within 30 days of enrollment; ongoing psychiatry visits at least every 180 days; therapy visits at least every 60 days) or Brightside "reserve[s] the right to pause your services" (messaging/check-ins) until an overdue appointment is scheduled (ToU Section 11).

"If you purchase a Subscription, we (or our third-party payment processor) will automatically charge you each month on the day on which you created your Subscription (the 'Billing Cycle'), using the Payment Information which you provided, until you cancel your Subscription... your Subscription will incur recurring monthly charges" (ToU Section 9(b)). Therapy subscription fee "is billed monthly on the same day each month" (refund/cancel FAQ). Members paying via insurance are billed differently — "may not be charged monthly by Brightside, and instead may be responsible for their insurance copays and deductibles in accordance with payment schedules set forth by their insurance carrier" (ToU Section 9(b)).

Pre-first-visit refund window: "You may cancel a Transaction for a full refund at least twenty-four (24) hours before your first scheduled consultation with a Healthcare Provider. AFTER THAT POINT, YOUR PURCHASE IS FINAL AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CANCEL THE PURCHASE OR RECEIVE A REFUND OF YOUR SUBSCRIPTION FEE" (ToU Section 9(c)). The consumer-facing refund FAQ frames this slightly differently: "we do not issue refunds after the time of your initial scheduled consultation with your psychiatric provider has passed, as Brightside providers take time to review your information and begin preparing a treatment plan prior to your initial scheduled video consultation." After that point: "All therapy subscription payments are non-refundable... EXCEPT AS SET FORTH ABOVE WITH RESPECT TO YOUR INITIAL SUBSCRIPTION PURCHASE, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND OF ANY PORTION OF THE SUBSCRIPTION FEE PAID FOR AT THE TIME OF CANCELLATION" (ToU Section 9(c)). Extra (add-on) video therapy sessions that are purchased and then canceled can be refunded on request via Member Services (refund FAQ). No-show/late cancellation fees (up to $200 for insured members) are explicitly excluded from refund/insurance reimbursement.

The closest equivalents are (a) the "Free Assessment" entry funnel — an intake questionnaire used to recommend a plan, not a trial of paid service — and (b) the 24-hour full-refund cancellation window before the first scheduled consultation described under refund_policy above, which functions as an implicit cooling-off period after purchase but before any care is delivered.

Terms and Conditions Section 1.4 ("Cancellations and Refunds"): "You can cancel by clicking 'Cancel Subscription' in your User Account no later than the day before your next scheduled billing date to cancel your Subscription. Step-by-step cancellation instructions can be found in our FAQs." Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current Subscription Period, not immediately: "you cancel only future charges ... the cancellation will become effective at the end of your current Subscription Period." If not canceled in time, "you will be charged for the next Subscription Period and your Subscription will be canceled in the following Subscription Period." Separately, canceling a Subscription does not delete the User Account/data ("canceling a Subscription will not operate to deactivate your User Account"); full account deactivation requires contacting support@cerebral.com. REGULATORY CONTEXT (not on Cerebral's own pages; recorded per collection brief from a primary regulatory source): the FTC's April 2024 complaint alleged that, historically, "[d]espite promising that consumers could 'cancel anytime,' Cerebral required its clients to navigate a complex, multi-step, and often multi-day process to cancel," continued charging consumers during the delay, and had removed an easier one-click cancel button two weeks after launching it in April 2020 "at [then-CEO] Robertson's direction" after seeing cancellations rise (FTC press release, April 2024). The resulting consent order requires Cerebral to provide "a simple way to cancel services." The self-serve "Cancel Subscription" button described in the current (Sept 2025) Terms and Conditions and in the current FAQ ("How do I cancel my subscription?" listed as a Popular Topic) is consistent with a post-settlement, simplified mechanism, though this collection pass did not test the actual in-account cancellation flow (out of scope per public-pages-only rule).

Discretionary exception: "We reserve the right to issue refunds or credits at our sole discretion. If we issue a refund or credit in one instance, we are under no obligation to issue the same refund or credit in the future." Company-initiated cancellation is treated differently: "Notwithstanding any other terms, the ... Medical Groups reserve the right to cancel your Subscription in its entirety at any time and for any reason ... If [they] exercise their right to cancel a Subscription, you will be refunded the current Subscription Period's Subscription Fee." Medication orders: "final once shipped by the Pharmacies, and the order cannot be returned or refunded," though orders "may be canceled before they are shipped."

No fixed-length free trial is advertised on any pricing/plan page checked. Terms and Conditions Section 1.2 ("Trials and Promotional Fees") describes the mechanism generally but does not commit to a specific duration: "We may periodically offer discounts to our Services in the form of free trial periods or promotional fees. The terms of those discounts will be stated at the time you sign up... Upon completion of your free trial, your Subscription will automatically convert into a paid Subscription... unless you have canceled." "You may only be permitted to use one free trial or promotional fee offer." The only currently-published discount mechanic found is the AFM20 code ("$20 off your first Affordable Meds cash plan," see medication offer) and the 3-month prepay discounts on Therapy ($795/3mo) and the Medication+Therapy bundle ($885/3mo) — neither is framed as a "trial."

Appointments (not memberships — there is no membership) are cancelled or rescheduled self-serve via the "Appointments" area of the mobile app or web portal ("Select 'Cancel' and confirm your cancellation reason, if requested"). Published fee schedule (help.circlemedical.com FAQ, updated "over a week ago" as of collection): a $50 fee applies if an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or for a no-show; a separate $50 reschedule fee applies if rescheduled with less than 12 hours' notice; and a $50 no-show fee applies if the patient joins more than 10 minutes late (patient may then be asked to reschedule). If the provider fails to join, the appointment is cancelled at no charge to the patient after the scheduled end time, and the patient can rebook freely. No refund policy is stated in the Terms of Use (searched for "refund"/"non-refundable" language site-wide in the ToS; none found). The help-center billing FAQ states payment is billed only after the appointment is finalized ("You will not be charged until after your appointment is complete") and is "due in full once finalized by your insurance or if you have opted to self-pay," with self-pay invoices due within 48 hours of notice before being charged to the payment method on file. No explicit refund/cancellation-of-charge policy for completed, already-billed appointments was found on any public page. Flagged needs_recheck / medium confidence — absence of a published policy is recorded as a fact, not assumed to mean "no refunds ever."
- Trial terms

Explicitly: "Contacting us at hello@joinmochi.com is NOT an acceptable way to request to cancel... Requests to cancel subscriptions received via email... or through any other method not listed above will NOT be considered valid requests." Cancellation "will take effect at the end of the then current subscription term" (access continues until then); the account then "automatically revert[s] to a free membership subscription (a 'Free Membership')" rather than closing outright — Free Membership excludes 1:1 video visits and may exclude some treatment categories/Medications. Cancelling the Paid Membership also auto-cancels any active Medication Subscription that requires an active Paid Membership. Medication Subscriptions can separately be modified/cancelled "at any time prior to a refill request being sent to a pharmacy for fulfillment, by selecting 'Modify' from the medication page." If the Monthly Subscription Fee amount is going to change, Mochi must give 30 days' notice before charging the new amount, during which the user can cancel. Per-visit refunds (faq.md / membership-perks.md, consistent across both): full refund if a virtual appointment is canceled at least 3 hours before its scheduled time, an in-person appointment at least 24 hours before, or (for labs/imaging/other appointments without a fixed date/time) within 10 days of purchase once the provider confirms the appointment did not take place. No refunds for: patient no-shows; cancellation requests inside those windows; requests to prescribe a specific medication or complete specific paperwork that is declined; surgical procedures with confirmed scheduling; labs not completed within 7 days of purchase; any refund request made more than 10 days after the scheduled visit. Subscription refunds: monthly/annual Membership Services subscriptions are not eligible for a prorated refund upon cancellation (access simply continues to the end of the paid period). Multi-month subscription plans (e.g. Success by Sesame's 3/6/12-month tiers) are prepaid at a discount; canceling before the committed term ends causes the fee already paid to be re-rated at the standard month-to-month price for each month actually used, with only any remaining balance refunded — per ToS, "in some cases the adjusted value of services used may equal or exceed the amount originally paid, in which case no refund will be issued." Prescription refill services: "the initial prescription cannot be cancelled or refunded"; refills can be canceled if not yet processed for delivery.

Multiple channels are offered, per the "How do I cancel an appointment?" help article: (1) Email hello@talkiatry.com anytime with name, DOB, and email on file plus the appointment date/time to cancel; (2) Web chat via the purple chat icon on the Help Center, staffed Monday–Friday 9AM–5PM Eastern, connects to a Care Coordinator who can schedule/reschedule/ cancel; (3) Phone at 833-351-8255 (833-351-TALK), staffed Mon–Fri 7:30AM–9PM Eastern and Sat–Sun 8AM–5PM Eastern (press 1 for first visit, 2 if already seen). No self-serve online/in-portal cancel button is described on any fetched page (the healow patient portal is described for video visits, messaging, and health records, not appointment cancellation). Classified as "email" (schema enum) since email is listed first and is available anytime with no live-staff dependency; chat and phone are both real alternatives and are staffed, not self-serve. NO-SHOW / LATE-CANCELLATION FEE (known psychiatry-practice pattern, confirmed here): a known industry pattern of charging for missed appointments — Talkiatry publishes this explicitly. Per the "Cancellation policy / No-Show fee" help article and FAQ (identical language in both): "we charge a cancellation fee of $100 for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment with less than 48 hours' notice. The same cancellation fee applies for patients who miss an appointment or are not in an appropriate place for an appointment, including being out-of-state or not having a stable internet connection. Fees for late cancellation or missing an appointment will show up on your bill as a No-Show fee... Note that the cancellation fee cannot be covered by insurance." Terms of Use Section 17 ("Cancellation and Missed Appointment (No-Show) Policy") restates the same $100 / <48-hour rule and confirms the fee is charged automatically to the payment method on file. Terms of Use Section 12 also authorizes Talkiatry to auto-charge the stored payment method for "any applicable copayments, coinsurance, deductible amounts, missed appointment (cancelation/no show) fees or self-pay amounts owed." Cancelling with 48+ hours' notice incurs no fee (FAQ: "If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, you won't be charged.").

Does not renew automatically. Not a subscription product — there is no recurring plan to auto-renew. What IS "automatic" is payment authorization: Terms of Use Section 12 states the patient's authorization to charge their stored payment method for copays/coinsurance/deductibles/no-show fees "is irrevocable with respect to services that have already been rendered... and for future services until you remove the Payment Method." To stop future charges, a patient must proactively cancel upcoming appointments and formally request discharge from care via hello@talkiatry.com or 833-351-8255 (Terms of Use Section 12/16) — there is no separate "cancel my plan" step because there is no plan, only an ongoing patient-provider relationship that continues until discharge is requested.
- Refunds
- No subscription/plan refund policy exists (Talkiatry does not sell a subscription — it bills per visit through insurance).
Full recorded text
No subscription/plan refund policy exists (Talkiatry does not sell a subscription — it bills per visit through insurance). Two specific refund-adjacent commitments are published: (1) Billing-error refund, Terms of Use Section 5: "If a Service is mistakenly billed at the incorrect cost because of a typo or incorrect information from an insurance company or one of our partners, we reserve the right to cancel a medical appointment for the Service... If you have already paid for the Service that is incorrectly charged, we will promptly refund you the amount that was incorrectly charged." (2) "In-network guarantee" (Insurance page): "Before your first visit, we verify that we're in network with your insurance. If we make a mistake, we'll cover the full cost of your first appointment." Terms of Use also states that if Talkiatry itself cancels a confirmed, already-paid appointment (e.g. for billing/fraud-review reasons), "we will issue a credit to your card or other payment method for the amount charged."
- Trial terms
- No trial exists — insurance-billed medical visits, not a subscription with a trial period. No trial language appears anywhere in the Terms of Use or on public pages.

Out-of-pocket subscribers additionally have the option to pause instead of cancel (initial pause period, extendable in further 7-day increments via account settings); pausing is NOT available for insurance-benefit, EAP-benefit, employer/school/city-sponsored-benefit, or psychiatry plans — those must be canceled outright if the member wants to stop. The specific step-by-step cancellation article for each plan type ("How Do I Cancel My Out-Of-Pocket Subscription/Plan?" etc.) is gated behind member login ("Some content is only visible to members when signed in") and was NOT entered per collection rules (no authentication walls). cancellation_mechanism is recorded as self_serve_online based on the article's framing (managed "through your account settings" per the linked article titles) and pricing.md FAQ ("No, you can cancel your Talkspace plan or membership at any time... can cancel any time before your renewal date") — no phone call or email requirement is stated on any public page.
- Auto-renewal
- Renews automatically until cancelled. "All of Talkspace's therapy plans are recurring subscriptions — billed automatically on either a monthly, quarterly, or biannual basis— with frequency chosen by you when you sign up" (help-out-of-pocket- pricing.md).

Psychiatry is explicitly NOT a subscription ("There's no subscriptions and you can cancel any time," pricing.md) — priced and charged per session/bundle instead.

Two Talkspace-owned pages state materially different refund positions, not reconciled here — flagged needs_recheck: (1) Terms of Use, "Refunds" section (last updated January 29, 2025): "Except as prohibited under applicable law, Talkspace may at its sole discretion provide a full, partial, or pro-rated refund for services rendered" — i.e., refunds for rendered services are possible, at Talkspace's discretion. (2) Plan-Cancellation-and-Refund-Policy help article (help.talkspace.com): "Talkspace is not able to grant refunds for services rendered, including... subscription costs... add-on session costs... copays and any remaining balances after a member's insurance has processed a claim... live sessions canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice... missed or no-show live sessions" — i.e., refunds for rendered services are described as categorically unavailable. The same help article also states Support "can evaluate a request for a refund if it's received within 90 days of the charge's posting date," and that approved refunds are "usually processed within 3-5 business days" back to the original payment method only (no rebilling to a different method).
- Trial terms
- Terms of Use reference a "Trial Subscription" concept generically: "From time to time, Talkspace may offer a Trial Subscription... to receive introductory services.

Terms of Use reference a "Trial Subscription" concept generically: "From time to time, Talkspace may offer a Trial Subscription... to receive introductory services. You may only receive one Trial Subscription" — no duration, discount depth, or eligibility criteria are stated in the Terms themselves, and no active trial offer for therapy or psychiatry was found advertised on any public pricing page at the time of collection. (The separate "Tee" AI chat product does advertise a specific "7-day free trial" on pricing.md, but Tee is not a therapy or psychiatry service and is out of scope here.)

Observations
Each observation states facts from the table above and names the company they come from. This site publishes no rankings, scores, or best-of verdicts, and nothing here is medical advice or a statement about whether a treatment works.
Three billing shapes sit in one category
Across the 41 offers in the table the recorded price unit is per month on 24 rows, per week on 4, per visit on 11, per quarter on 1, and one time on 1. On 4 of those rows the company publishes no amount. A per-visit price and a subscription price are not directly comparable, so the monthly equivalent column stays blank on per-visit rows rather than multiplying by an assumed number of visits per month. Checked Aug 14, 2026 to Aug 15, 2026.
Weekly prices, monthly billing
BetterHelp publishes $70/wk for individual therapy and Talkspace publishes $69 to $109 per week across its three individual therapy plans. All four rows record subscription billing on a monthly interval, so the weekly figure is not an amount that is ever charged on its own. Converted at 30.4375 days per month, BetterHelp is $304.37 per month and the Talkspace plans are $300.02 to $473.95 per month. Checked Aug 15, 2026.
Subscription therapy prices vary by 1.59x between companies
Three companies sell individual talk therapy as a monthly subscription. Brightside Health publishes $299 per month directly. BetterHelp's weekly figure converts to $304.37 per month and the three Talkspace plans convert to $300.02 to $473.95 per month. The gap between the lowest and the highest of those figures is $174.95 per month, or 1.59 times the lowest. Those rows were checked Aug 15, 2026.
On 3 rows the advertised price is not the amount billed
Mochi Health advertises $23 to $33 per month for its three antidepressant rows and the same rows record a required membership of $79/mo billed separately, which puts the all-in monthly cost at $102 to $112. No other row on this page records a required membership. Hims and Hers publish $40 to $55 per month across 12 rows with the visit and the medication both recorded as included, and PlushCare publishes $19.99/mo for medication management on a row that records neither the visit nor the medication as included. Checked Aug 14, 2026.
4 offers publish no price
Talkiatry publishes no price for any of its 3 rows (Psychiatry initial evaluation, Psychiatry follow-up / medication management visit, Therapy / psychotherapy), and Brightside Health publishes no price for its Suicide Prevention Program row, as of the Aug 15, 2026 check of both companies' public pages. Those rows read "not published" rather than carrying an estimate, and they are excluded from the price range in the summary box.
Per-visit therapy prices run $75 to $175
Where a therapy session is priced per visit rather than per month, the published prices are $75 per visit at Sesame, $169 per visit at PlushCare, and $175 per visit at Cerebral. The Sesame and PlushCare rows record one time billing; the Cerebral row records subscription billing on a monthly interval while quoting its price per visit. Cerebral's medication and psychiatry plan uses a third cadence, $180 per 3 mo, which the monthly equivalent column converts to $60 per month. Checked Aug 14, 2026 to Aug 15, 2026.
Frequently asked questions
41 prices · 13 companies
Often not. 3 of the 41 prices here carry a membership or platform fee billed separately from the advertised number. The all-in monthly column adds that fee back, which makes it the figure that leaves your account.
Of the 41 prices here, 22 are sold with a live video visit, 14 with an online questionnaire instead of a live appointment and 5 with your choice of questionnaire or live visit. That is the company's own rule rather than the medication's, so check it before you choose on price alone.
Of the 13 companies here, 12 let you cancel online yourself and 1 requires an email. Each company's exact wording on cancellation, refunds and auto-renewal is quoted in the terms section inside the table.
13 of the 41 are priced per visit, per dose, or as a single charge. A monthly figure for those would mean assuming how often you buy, so the column stays blank rather than carrying a guess.
Every price here was read off the company's own public page, checked Aug 14, 2026 to Aug 15, 2026, and each row carries its own date. Where the final price appears only inside a checkout flow we mark it "Advertised, unconfirmed" rather than guess. 4 of the 41 publish no price at all and show as "not published".
How to read this page
3 columns · 2 flags · 1 rule
- Advertised price
- What the company's own public pages showed on the date in the row.
- All-in monthly
- The advertised price plus any membership fee the company's own pages describe as required and separately billed. Where a required fee has no published price, the all-in cost is shown as unknown rather than estimated.
- Monthly equivalent
- Non-monthly billing — weekly, quarterly and similar cadences — normalized to a per-month figure.
- Verified
- The fact was confirmed on a public page.
- Advertised, unconfirmed
- The number is published, but the final checkout price could not be confirmed without creating an account, which we do not do.
- Nothing selected by hand
- Every offer the dataset holds for this category appears in the table; nothing is chosen or left out by hand.
