Lemonaid Health, Inc. provides administrative and management services to four affiliated medical professional entities that actually deliver care, all doing business as "Lemonaid Health": LMND Medical Group, Inc. (a California Professional Corporation), which serves all states other than Kansas, New Jersey, and Texas; LMND Medical Group, A Professional Association (Kansas, registered office 112 SW 7th Street, Suite 3C, Topeka, KS 66603); LMND Medical Group Professional Corporation (New Jersey, registered office 820 Bear Tavern Road, West Trenton, NJ 08628); and LMND Medical Group, A Professional Association (Texas, registered office 1999 Bryan Street, Suite 900, Dallas, TX 75201). Full collected entry

Lemonaid Health was founded in San Francisco in 2013 (own About page, "Our Story"). 23andMe, Inc. acquired Lemonaid Health for approximately $400 million (announced October 2021) — widely reported figure (e.g. MobiHealthNews, TipRanks) corroborated by a 23andMe SEC 8-K exhibit (sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1804591/000119312521305409/d231996dex991.htm) surfaced via search but not independently fetched/verified this session; treat this specific dollar figure as medium confidence. In March 2025, 23andMe filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, driven by financial distress and a major 2023 customer-data breach. In September 2025, Lemonaid Health was sold OUT of that bankruptcy — separately from 23andMe's core DNA-testing business — to an SPV formed by Bambu Ventures in partnership with Innova Capital Partners, for approximately $10 million, a steep markdown from the 2021 purchase price. Reporting (Crunchbase News, Behavioral Health Business, HLTH Insights, BusinessWire, Panabee) states both Regeneron (which separately acquired 23andMe's core business for ~$256M) and TTAM Research Institute (the Anne Wojcicki– affiliated nonprofit that ultimately prevailed in the main 23andMe asset auction) explicitly excluded Lemonaid from their bids. As of this collection date (2026-08-14), Lemonaid Health operates as an independently owned telehealth/pharmacy platform under Bambu Ventures/Innova ownership — it is NOT currently a 23andMe subsidiary, contrary to the collection brief's premise. Lemonaid's own public pages (our-story.md, legal footers) make no mention of either the 23andMe acquisition or the 2025 sale; all ownership-history facts above are third-party-sourced (news coverage), not confirmed on lemonaidhealth.com itself — flagged needs_recheck for a first-party citation if one becomes available. LegitScript Certified (badge present site-wide).

How to cancel

Quoted from Lemonaid Health's terms and help pages on Aug 14, 2026. Only the cancellation mechanism is in our words; everything else is the company's.

How cancellation works

VerifiedChecked Aug 14, 2026
Cancellation mechanism
self serve online
Automatic renewal
see terms belowRenews automatically until cancelled.
Cancellation terms as published
"Last updated: May 4th, 2026" (cancellation-policy.md). To cancel a scheduled visit, patients may request modification/cancellation any time before the visit to avoid visit fees; visit fees (where applicable, to select unspecified services) are non-refundable once a consultation is completed. To cancel Mental Health, Insomnia, or Hypertension memberships, or automatic recurring shipments/refills (e.g. ED, Birth Control), patients must request cancellation at least 48 hours before the next renewal/refill/billing date; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current membership period or final refill, not immediately. "If you would like to cancel your membership services or automatic, recurring shipments, for any reason, you may do so at any time in your account." Lemonaid may also suspend/terminate access unilaterally at any time without notice; if terminated for a patient's breach, no refund of prepaid recurring services.
Refund policy as published
"Last updated: September 27, 2023" (refund-policy.md). All fees and payments (memberships, auto-prescription refills, visits, or other product offerings) are stated as "non-refundable, non-cancellable, non-exchangeable, and non-creditable." No refunds for partially used services. Patient is fully liable for all account charges, including unauthorized charges (billing disputes routed to Patient Support via secure message or phone, not a self-serve refund flow).
Trial terms as published
No free-trial-period concept (e.g., "N days free") found on any public page fetched. Lemonaid instead publishes discounted first-cycle pricing per individual offer (e.g., mental health: $25 first month vs. $95/month recurring; hair-loss finasteride: $30 first 3-month supply vs. $60 recurring) — see each offer's first_vs_recurring field. No company-wide trial mechanism exists distinct from these per-product intro prices.

States served

Lemonaid Health publishes no company-wide list of the states it serves. Where a single offer publishes its own list, it appears in that offer's details.
