Talkiatry Management Services, LLC ("TMS"), 109 W 27th St., Suite 5S, New York, NY 10001 — provides administrative and business support services to the Talkiatry-branded psychiatry practice(s). TMS licenses the "Talkiatry" brand to independently owned and operated psychiatry practices; it does not employ or supervise the clinicians providing care (About page, Terms of Use). Per Terms of Use Section 1: Talkiatry (TMS) contracts with MCCD Psychiatry Services, P.L.L.C., MCCD FL Psychiatry Services, P.A., MCCD CA Psychiatry Services, P.C., MCCD KS Psychiatry Services, P.A., and MCCD New Jersey Psychiatry Services, L.L.C. (collectively "Medical Group") — independent, physician-owned entities that employ the treating clinicians. This is the standard telehealth "management services organization" (MSO) structure used to comply with corporate-practice-of-medicine rules.

Self-reported scale (About/homepage, 2026): 800+ psychiatrists, 3,000,000+ patient visits, 100+ insurance partners, virtual care in 45 states (locations page). Per third-party press releases (PR Newswire/Fierce Healthcare/Behavioral Health Business, not verified on talkiatry.com): raised $5M Series A (Feb 2021, led by Sikwoo Capital Partners, with Relevance Ventures and Richard Park M.D.); $130M Series C (2024); $210M Series D (reported Feb 2026, led by Perceptive Advisors with Sofina and prior investors Andreessen Horowitz, blisce/, and Left Lane Capital) — described in that release as funding "the nation's largest full-stack psychiatry provider." Uses a management-services-organization (MSO) corporate structure: Talkiatry Management Services, LLC provides business/admin support and licenses the brand to independently owned, physician-led medical practices (MCCD Psychiatry Services entities) that actually deliver and bill for care — standard structure for corporate-practice-of-medicine compliance in telepsychiatry.

Published prices

Advertised price is the number the company publishes. Monthly equivalent normalizes non-monthly billing to a per-month figure. All-in monthly adds the membership fee the company's own pages state is required and billed separately. Prices last checked Aug 15, 2026.

How to cancel

Quoted from Talkiatry's terms and help pages on Aug 15, 2026. Only the cancellation mechanism is in our words; everything else is the company's.

How cancellation works

VerifiedChecked Aug 15, 2026
Cancellation mechanism
email
Automatic renewal
see terms belowDoes not renew automatically. Not a subscription product — there is no recurring plan to auto-renew. What IS "automatic" is payment authorization: Terms of Use Section 12 states the patient's authorization to charge their stored payment method for copays/coinsurance/deductibles/no-show fees "is irrevocable with respect to services that have already been rendered... and for future services until you remove the Payment Method." To stop future charges, a patient must proactively cancel upcoming appointments and formally request discharge from care via hello@talkiatry.com or 833-351-8255 (Terms of Use Section 12/16) — there is no separate "cancel my plan" step because there is no plan, only an ongoing patient-provider relationship that continues until discharge is requested.
Cancellation terms as published
Multiple channels are offered, per the "How do I cancel an appointment?" help article: (1) Email hello@talkiatry.com anytime with name, DOB, and email on file plus the appointment date/time to cancel; (2) Web chat via the purple chat icon on the Help Center, staffed Monday–Friday 9AM–5PM Eastern, connects to a Care Coordinator who can schedule/reschedule/ cancel; (3) Phone at 833-351-8255 (833-351-TALK), staffed Mon–Fri 7:30AM–9PM Eastern and Sat–Sun 8AM–5PM Eastern (press 1 for first visit, 2 if already seen). No self-serve online/in-portal cancel button is described on any fetched page (the healow patient portal is described for video visits, messaging, and health records, not appointment cancellation). Classified as "email" (schema enum) since email is listed first and is available anytime with no live-staff dependency; chat and phone are both real alternatives and are staffed, not self-serve. NO-SHOW / LATE-CANCELLATION FEE (known psychiatry-practice pattern, confirmed here): a known industry pattern of charging for missed appointments — Talkiatry publishes this explicitly. Per the "Cancellation policy / No-Show fee" help article and FAQ (identical language in both): "we charge a cancellation fee of $100 for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment with less than 48 hours' notice. The same cancellation fee applies for patients who miss an appointment or are not in an appropriate place for an appointment, including being out-of-state or not having a stable internet connection. Fees for late cancellation or missing an appointment will show up on your bill as a No-Show fee... Note that the cancellation fee cannot be covered by insurance." Terms of Use Section 17 ("Cancellation and Missed Appointment (No-Show) Policy") restates the same $100 / <48-hour rule and confirms the fee is charged automatically to the payment method on file. Terms of Use Section 12 also authorizes Talkiatry to auto-charge the stored payment method for "any applicable copayments, coinsurance, deductible amounts, missed appointment (cancelation/no show) fees or self-pay amounts owed." Cancelling with 48+ hours' notice incurs no fee (FAQ: "If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance, you won't be charged.").
Refund policy as published
No subscription/plan refund policy exists (Talkiatry does not sell a subscription — it bills per visit through insurance). Two specific refund-adjacent commitments are published: (1) Billing-error refund, Terms of Use Section 5: "If a Service is mistakenly billed at the incorrect cost because of a typo or incorrect information from an insurance company or one of our partners, we reserve the right to cancel a medical appointment for the Service... If you have already paid for the Service that is incorrectly charged, we will promptly refund you the amount that was incorrectly charged." (2) "In-network guarantee" (Insurance page): "Before your first visit, we verify that we're in network with your insurance. If we make a mistake, we'll cover the full cost of your first appointment." Terms of Use also states that if Talkiatry itself cancels a confirmed, already-paid appointment (e.g. for billing/fraud-review reasons), "we will issue a credit to your card or other payment method for the amount charged."
Trial terms as published
No trial exists — insurance-billed medical visits, not a subscription with a trial period. No trial language appears anywhere in the Terms of Use or on public pages.
