Full collected entry

Currently branded/operated as Calibrate Health, Inc. (per live Jan 2026 Terms of Use). About Us page lists institutional investors Founders Fund, Tiger Global, Threshold, Redesign Health, and Forerunner Ventures, with no mention of subsequent ownership changes — the on-site "About Us" and 2021-dated press-kit PDF (still linked in the footer) are stale and predate the events below. Per third-party reporting (not disclosed on joincalibrate.com; see data/evidence/calibrate/2026-08-14/corporate-history-research.md for full source list): founded 2019 by Isabelle Kenyon (CEO). In October 2023 Calibrate underwent a "legal restructuring"/recapitalization, taking on private-equity backing from Madryn Asset Management alongside existing investors (reported deal figures vary by outlet, ~$20-29M, not reconciled here), amid GLP-1 (Ozempic/ Wegovy/Zepbound) supply shortages the company could not fulfill, member complaints, "millions" in issued refunds during 2023, and two prior layoff rounds (~150 roles July 2022, ~100 roles April 2023). Founder/CEO Isabelle Kenyon subsequently stepped down; Rob MacNaughton was named CEO (announced Feb 2024), with the company's stated strategy pivoting toward the employer/payer market (consistent with the current site nav, which foregrounds "For Employees"/"For Organizations"/"For Employers" ahead of the individual signup path). Rob Rebak succeeded MacNaughton as CEO in May 2025 (MacNaughton remained on the board as an advisor).

Advertised price is the number the company publishes. Monthly equivalent normalizes non-monthly billing to a per-month figure. All-in monthly adds the membership fee the company's own pages state is required and billed separately. Prices last checked Aug 14, 2026.

How to cancel

Quoted from Calibrate's terms and help pages on Aug 14, 2026. Only the cancellation mechanism is in our words; everything else is the company's.

How cancellation works

Advertised, unconfirmedChecked Aug 14, 2026
Cancellation mechanism
email
Automatic renewal
see terms belowRenews automatically until cancelled. Membership Terms & Conditions Section 1.4: "Membership Fees are billed monthly and will auto-renew each month following their subscription start date." Section 6: after the 3-month Initial Term, the Agreement "will automatically renew for subsequent one-month terms" until either party terminates. Section 1.1: nonpayment triggers a 15-day grace period before the member "may be terminated from the Program."
Cancellation terms as published
Membership Terms & Conditions Section 6: "You may terminate this Agreement and your participation in the Program at any time by contacting membership@joincalibrate.com after the initial term." No self-serve in-app/online cancel button is described in any public page (contrast with, e.g., Ro's in-account "Cancel Subscription" button). Cancellation Policy page adds a notice-period mechanic: "If you wish to cancel your membership, you must notify us 7 calendar days prior to your next billing cycle ... your cancellation will be effective as of the next billing date after the Initial Term." Cancellation is blocked structurally during the 3-month Initial Term in the sense that the remaining installments of the $597 commitment are still owed even if you stop participating (Section 6: no "waiver of any unpaid installments of fees during the Initial Term") — you can only stop future billing once the Initial Term has completed, subject to the 7-day notice window. Upon termination, the Calibrate app's tracking and messaging features remain accessible, but Program services/prescriptions end. A separate general support email, hello@joincalibrate.com, is also given on the Cancellation Policy page. Refund policy as published
Current published policy only (per collection brief; historical/archived versions exist but are out of scope — see notes). Cancellation Policy page (last updated May 17, 2024), which the site states is "subject to" and incorporates the Membership Terms & Conditions: - "Calibrate's Program is non-refundable except as described in this Cancellation Policy." - 72-hour window: "If you want to cancel your Program within 72 hours of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund for Membership Fees you paid." - Program-ineligibility termination (Calibrate's own discretion): member is released from the remaining Initial Term commitment but "will not receive a refund for Membership Fees already paid." - "In all other cases, the Membership Fees are non-refundable, although after the Initial Term you may cancel your monthly membership at any time" (i.e. future billing stops, but no refund of fees already paid for the current period). - Results Money Back Promise (separate document, last updated May 16, 2024): a 50% refund of TOTAL PAID membership fees over 12 consecutive months if the member does not achieve at least 10% body-weight loss in that period — excludes cost of medication/labs/discounts/third-party charges, requires self-pay enrollment (not employer/insurance-sponsored), requires the member was not on any prescription weight-loss medication in the prior 12 months, requires completing 12 consecutive months, requires compliance with the separate "Calibrate Commitment" starting month 2, and explicitly "does not apply to Continuing Members." Approved refunds process to the original card within 10 business days of Calibrate confirming eligibility. notable_history_flagged_by_brief: >- The Cancellation Policy and Guarantee pages both note superseded prior versions that still apply to earlier cohorts: a "Previous version of the Cancellation policy" (for members who joined before May 17, 2024, linked at /legal/refund-policy-archived2024) and TWO earlier guarantee versions (for members who joined March 25, 2023 - May 16, 2024, and for members who joined before March 24, 2023, at /legal/guarantee-archive and /legal/archived-guarantee respectively). These prior versions were not fetched (collection scope is the current published policy per the brief); their existence, plus the pattern of the current Money Back Promise being only a 50% partial refund (not 100%) with numerous eligibility exclusions (self-pay only, excludes Continuing Members, excludes anyone on weight-loss medication in the prior year), is consistent with public reporting of member dissatisfaction/refund friction cited in Calibrate's 2023 restructuring coverage (see company.corporate_facts) but this file does not independently verify complaint volume or upheld-vs-denied refund rates — those are checkout/account-flow facts outside public-page collection scope. Trial terms as published
No free trial is advertised. The closest analog is the 72-hour full-refund window on the Cancellation Policy page (see refund_policy) — functionally a short money-back window rather than a true free trial, since the card is charged immediately at signup.
